Welcome to Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid has been established to assist students in obtaining grants and loans for educational expenses. Seminary students may apply for student loans through the Stafford Loan Program. Veteran benefits are also available for Seminary students. The Financial Aid Office processes students through the Virtual Financial Aid Office (VFAO) online to enable the efficient processing of distance and local students. Students may apply for “financial aid” at anytime during the academic year. However, to avoid frustration and delay we recommend that the students apply by filing The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the VFAO Interview at least two months before the quarter begins to allow for processing. The FAFSA determines the student’s eligibility for the various Federal Financial Aid programs. This determination is called an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) Number.
The Financial Aid Office maintains a one page information list of web based scholarship searches and scholarships. Please contact them if interested.
